Guilherme Ferrari Faviero, M.S., MPH, is a research associate at Asebey Life Science Law, where his work focuses on researching FDA regulatory and compliance matters. With graduate degrees in biomedical sciences and public health, he brings a unique perspective to assist the firm in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and providing practical solutions to meet our client’s needs.
Guilherme is also the Director of the AHF Global Public Health Institute at the University of Miami, where he oversees the collaboration between the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF)—a global non-profit serving over 2 million patients in 46 countries—and the University of Miami. A self-described “regulatory nerd,” Guilherme graduated cum laude from the University of Miami and magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University.
Prior to his work with law and policy, he was a research scientist in immunology and cell biology. His writings and collaborations have been featured in internationally recognized publications, including The Lancet, The Lancet Public Health, Frontiers, and Devex.
